Three different types of downloading features can be offered to browser banking users, enabling the transfer of transaction history information to a member’s PC:

All are a standard part of Ultra-Access and do not require any additional software or special installation programs for the download process.  You will, of course, need separate software packages to work with the downloaded data.

How to Download

You must sign-on to Home Banking to perform the following.  Print these instructions to refer to while in your Home Banking account.

  1. Sign-on to Home Banking
  2. Click the "Accounts" button
  3. Click an account type to View History
  4. Click the "Download" button and follow the directions as described below 

NOTE: When you click on 'Download', your browser may display the information directly on the browser instead of prompting you to Save / Open the file. This means that your browser is not setup to understand the 'File/MIME Type' of the file you are trying to download.  To resolve this issue, follow the steps provided below depending on the type of your browser.

Internet Explorer versions 3.02, 4.0, 4.01
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Double-click My Computer.
  2. On the View menu, click Options or Folder Options.
  3. Click the File Types tab, and then click New Type.
  4. In the Description Type box, type "Money Download" for Microsoft Money, "Quicken Download" for Quicken or "Excel Download" for Excel (without quotation marks).
  5. In the Associated Extension box, type ".ofc" for Microsoft Money, ".qif" for Quicken or ".csv" for Excel (without quotation marks).
  6. In the Content Type (MIME) box, type "application/x-msmoney" for Microsoft Money, "application/x-qw" for Quicken or "application/x-excel" for Excel (without quotation marks).
  7. Click OK, and then click OK again.
  8. Empty your Temporary Internet Files folder. To do so, follow these steps:
    Internet Explorer 5: a. In Internet Explorer, click Tools, b. Click Internet Options, c. Click on Delete File, d. Click OK.  Internet Explorer 4.0 and 4.01: a. In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the View menu. b. Under Temporary Internet Files, Click Delete Files. c. Click OK, and then click OK again. Internet Explorer 3.02: a. In Internet Explorer, click Options on the View menu. b. Click the Advanced tab, click Settings, and then click Empty Folder. c. Click Yes, click OK, and then click OK again.
  9. Enable save encrypted pages to disk for Internet Explorer 4.0 and 4.01. To do so, follow these steps: a. In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the View menu. b. Click the Advanced tab, uncheck the 'Do not save encrypted pages to disk' option. c. Click OK.

Netscape versions 3.0 To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Start Netscape.
  2. On the Options menu, click General Preference option.
  3. Click the Helpers tab.
  4. In the File Extension box, type ".ofc" for Microsoft Money, ".qif" for Quicken or ".csv" for Excel (without quotation marks) . This will bring up MIME Dialog.
  5. In the MIME Type box, type "application" (without quotation marks).
  6. In the MIME Sub Type box, type "x-msmoney" for Microsoft Money, "x-qw" for Quicken or "x-excel" for Excel (without quotation marks).
  7. Click OK, and then click OK again.

Netscape versions 4.0 To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Start Netscape.
  2. On the Edit menu, click Preferences option.
  3. Click the Programs tab.
  4. Click the File Types button, and then click New Type.
  5. Select Applications from the Category list, and then click New Type. 
  6. In the Description Type box, type "Money Download" for Microsoft Money, "Quicken Download" for Quicken or "Excel Download" for Excel (without quotation marks). 
  7. In the File Extension box, type ".ofc" for Microsoft Money, ".qif" for Quicken or ".csv" for Excel (without quotation marks). 
  8. In the MIME Type box, type "application/x-msmoney" for Microsoft Money, "application/x-qw" for Quicken or "application/x-excel" for Excel (without quotation marks). 
  9. Click OK, and then click OK again.
