The black magnetic stripe on the back of Debit Card and VISAŽ cards has confidential account information that computers can read. Once that stripe is demagnetized, it won't work for you as it should. Here are some tips on avoiding demagnetizing your card.

DO NOT:

• Place your card in an eel skin wallet or purse.
• Lay card's magnetic stripe against another card's stripe, e.g. in your wallet.
• Place your card in or near a magnetic money clip.
• Place your card near any small magnet, including those used on wallets and purses.
• Set your card directly on a magnetic surface such as a stereo receiver or personal computer.
