Unsubsidized Stafford Student Loans

• Available to all students, regardless of income
• Interest accrues while in school
• Six-month grace period after you complete your education before you begin making payments of principal and interest
• Option to make interest payments while still in school

PLUS Loans

• Available to parents and stepparents of dependent undergraduate students to cover remaining educational expenses
• Generous loan amounts with a low variable rate of interest
• Maximum loan amount is the cost of attendance less any financial aid awarded the student
• Sixty-day grace period, after final disbursement, before payments begin
