Our Favorite Fall-Filled Festivals in Central and Southern Ohio
Don't be fooled; festival season doesn't have to end as soon
as the leaves turn and the temperature drops. Fall festivals are popping up all
over Central and Southern Ohio, and we are loving all the celebrations!
If you're looking for some fall-filled family fun, here is a
list of our four favorite fall festivals that you can find the Central and
Southern Ohio areas:
1. Circleville Pumpkin Show: Just south
of Downtown Columbus you'll find a world full of all things pumpkin. The
Circleville Pumpkin Show features rides, parades, pumpkin contests, and all the
pumpkin treats you could ever want! You can catch the Pumpkin Show yearly on the 3rd Wednesday through Saturday in October.
2. Renaissance Festival: Travel to
Waynesville, Ohio and you'll find yourself transported back in time to a 16th
Century English village. Shop at the Medieval Marketplace, enjoy nearly 100
shows daily, and feast like royalty on giant turkey legs, fish and chips,
breads and a wide variety of wines and ales.
3. Bob Evans Farm Festival: Enjoy a
weekend down on the farm in Rio Grande, Ohio. This festival features the original
Bob Evans restaurant, delicious foods, lumberjacks and chainsaw carvers, furry
friends from the Columbus Zoo and other fun activities for adults and kids. You'll also find over 100 local artisans showcasing their work!
4. Gahanna Creepside Festival: Spend
your Saturday trick-or-treating with local organizations at Creepside. Dress up
the entire family and enjoy the day filled with music, games, food trucks,
activities, candy, and even a haunted trail!
