Telhio Scholarship Winners Announced

Student members Brandon Bautista, Lara Peters and Katelyn Randall!


Scholarship Winner Brandon Bautista

The $2000 scholarship was awarded to Brandon Bautista, a recent graduate of The Charles School at Ohio Dominican University. Brandon will attend the University of Cincinnati this fall and plans to major in Biomedical Engineering. His goal after attending college is to help "develop prosthetic technology to help rehabilitate those who are physically disabled." In high school, Brandon spent time volunteering with various organizations and participating in 5k races for charity. He also served as the National Honor Society Treasurer, and was a member of the Chess Club!


Scholarship Winner Lara Peters

One of two $500 scholarships was awarded to Lara Peters, an Amanda Clearcreek High School graduate. Lara
was an active member of her high school Drama club, Science club, and the National Honor Society. She also enjoyed playing sports such as volleyball, basketball, track, and cross country! Lara will study at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology where she will pursue a degree in Engineering.


Scholarship Winner Katelyn Randall

Our second $500 scholarship recipient,
Katelyn Randall, is a recent graduate of Turpin High School in Cincinnati, OH. She is planning to study Neuroscience at Brigham Young University, where her goal is to become an Optometrist upon graduating. Katelyn enjoys running cross country and playing basketball. She was also on the National Honors Society and served as the Youth Class President at her local church.


We applaud Brandon, Katelyn and Lara for their hard-work, academic achievements and commitment to their community! Best of luck in all of your future endeavors!
