Winter. It can be cold and snowy; but that doesn't mean you can't have tons of fun with your grandkids! The cold weather season brings different activities that can be done both indoors and out. Here's a list of winter fun that both you and your grandchildren are sure to enjoy.

1. Get Creative. Use the wintertime as a chance to get indoors and get crafty with the grandkids. So many DIY craft stores teach classes and offer open craft times to get your creative juices flowing. Find a clay café nearby for a fun afternoon of painting or find a studio that offers hands-on art classes. For a more budget-friendly activity, search Pinterest for fun crafts to make using items you already have at home.

2. Go Ice Skating. If you're feeling extra adventurous, find either an indoor or outdoor ice rink to get some wintertime exercise. It's always fun to hold hands and skate with the grandkids; if you're up to it, maybe you have some moves of your own to share with them!

3. Have a Movie Day.
Movies are a great bonding activity. Find a movie you'll all enjoy, share some popcorn, and relax over a good film. Go to one of those theaters with the reclining chairs for a comfortable and fun movie experience! Remember, going to the movies can be costly, so plan ahead and try a matinee show or a discounted theater for a good deal. Can't go to the movies? Then pop in a flick at home and cuddle up with a good blanket and some goodies. Either way, you'll have a blast.
