Chaco: A Telhio Credit Union, Reopens Remodeled Park Branch

Hamilton, OHIO - Chaco: A Telhio Credit Union, cut the ribbon on May 8, 2017, in its newly remodeled branch location at 601 Park Avenue in Hamilton, Ohio.

The credit union invested $1.4 million in upgrading the branch to better serve the financial needs of its members. The branch will feature a more open layout, communication towers, updated furnishings and décor and member conveniences such as a coin counting machine and a coffee station.

"We are grateful to our members, who have been patient and understanding during our remodeling process," said Leslie Bumgarner, CEO. "We are excited to introduce this new level and style of service to our current members and to those looking for a financial institution in Hamilton and the surrounding communities."

Pat Moeller, Mayor of Hamilton, and representatives of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce also attended the event.

Chaco: A Telhio Credit Union was formed by a collaborative merger of Telhio Credit Union and Chaco Credit Union in late 2016.  Telhio and Chaco Credit unions served different geographical communities.  By merging with Telhio, the members of Chaco will enjoy numerous Telhio member benefits, such as mobile banking, mobile deposit and bill pay, access to competitive-rate mortgages, home improvement loans, auto loans and more. This remodel is intended to revitalize the highest volume branch in the Hamilton and further the introduction of the Telhio brand into the new market. 

The merger is part of a growth strategy at Telhio to ensure that individuals the local community who value credit union membership continue to experience the high level of member service they expect, while also ensuring that they have access to the latest technology and financial services available to larger financial institutions.
